FAQ's
Have you ever been to Cuba?
Who me? Of course not. That would be illegal. Really. You can check my passport. The dive scene in Cayman was cool. You must have done that night dive in Devil's Grotto? Yes, like Kate, that was my first night dive. Sorry for all the detail on the dive prep, but I thought it was important for non-divers to be able to appreciate how totally crazy and heroic that thing Kate did at the end was. Who is the CIA guy mentioned in the acknowledgements? You must be kidding. Ill never tell. That guy was one of the nicest, but also one of the scariest people I have ever met. I deeply appreciate his candor during the hours we shared. What a life that guy has led (but all secrets are safe with me). Did Stalin really coin the phrase, "You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet?" I don't know if he made it up, but he certainly used it to great effect. What amazes me is that no one ever hears about the well-founded retort to his quip which is: I certainly see all the broken eggs, but where is this omelet you keep talking about? By the way, the other moronic quip that irks me but seems to hold great sway is Keynes' answer about the long run effects of irresponsible spending: In the long run we're all dead.
